Beyond the Vet Vitals

Terms of use

Last updated 10 October 2026

The short version

These terms are the agreement between you and us for using Beyond the Vet Vitals. These are the points that matter most. The rest of the terms explain them in full.

The app helps you keep a record of your pet’s health at home and notice changes. It does not examine or diagnose your pet, and it is not veterinary advice. Using it does not make your pet a patient of Beyond the Vet Clinic, its vets or any other vet. Your own vet stays in charge.

Its alerts are based only on what you enter, so they can’t catch everything. Even with no alert, something could be wrong. If you’re worried, contact your vet. If your pet may need urgent help, contact your vet straight away.

Your records are yours. Some features are free, and the app shows which before you subscribe. Everything else needs a monthly or yearly subscription, at the price shown in the app and in the App Store or Google Play before you buy, sold and billed by Apple or Google. It renews automatically, and a free trial turns into a paid subscription, unless you cancel in your store settings at least 24 hours before the trial or the current period ends. Cancelling stops the next payment. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google; if the law entitles you to money back and the store doesn’t pay it, we will.

If we let you down, we are responsible for the loss we could have foreseen (see “Our responsibility to you”, and in the US also “If you live in the US: warranties and limits on our responsibility”).

Nothing in these terms takes away your legal rights.

Who we are and these terms

Beyond the Vet Vitals is provided by BeyondTheVetClinic Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17344519), whose registered office is 7 Bell Yard, London WC2A 2JR. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean BeyondTheVetClinic Ltd, and “you” means the person using the app. How to contact us is under “Complaints and contact” below.

Our clinical lead is a veterinary surgeon registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in the UK, who approved the rules behind the app’s alerts and reviews its clinical content. Our clinical lead does not see your records through the app, does not advise on individual pets through it, and is not acting as your pet’s vet through it, in the UK or the US.

These terms are the agreement between you and us for using the app. Our privacy policy explains how we use personal data; please read it too. We ask you to accept these terms when you first open the app, and again if we change them in an important way. If you don’t agree to them, please don’t use the app.

This version of the terms was published on 10 October 2026. It applies to you from when you accept it in the app. If you agreed to an earlier version, you need to accept this one to carry on using the app. You can read the earlier version at https://beyondthevetvitals.com/terms-2026-10-04.

The app is for adults aged 18 and over who live in the United Kingdom or the United States, for your own personal use with dogs and cats you own or look after. We sell it only through the UK and US App Store and Google Play.

Its guidance was written or reviewed by a UK veterinary surgeon, with pet care in the UK in mind. In the US, and in other countries, some things differ, such as medicines, products, rules and emergency services, so follow your own vet. If you move abroad, you can keep using the records you have, but we can’t promise that the app, its subscriptions or our support will be available outside the UK and the US.

Please don’t use the app, or create an account, if you are under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we may close it, after giving them the chance to save a copy of the records. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.

What the app is, and what it is not

Beyond the Vet Vitals is a home record and awareness tool for dog and cat owners. It helps you keep track of checks, readings, medicines and care, notice changes from what is normal for your pet, and share a clear record with your vet.

It is not veterinary advice. It does not examine, diagnose or treat your pet, and it does not prescribe medicines or set doses. Its guidance was written or reviewed by a veterinary surgeon, as general information about dogs and cats. Its alerts apply set rules to what you enter: they are not a vet’s view of your pet. AI suggestions are not checked by a vet (see “AI suggestions”).

Using the app does not create a relationship between you and any vet, and no vet sees your records through it. In the UK, it does not put your pet “under the care” of Beyond the Vet Clinic, its vets or any other vet, in the sense the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons uses. In the US, it does not create a veterinarian–client–patient relationship (often called a VCPR) under any state’s law. Without one, no vet can examine, diagnose or prescribe for your pet through the app. If your pet is already a patient of Beyond the Vet Clinic, that care carries on separately, exactly as before.

Your own vet stays in charge of your pet’s care. If anything in the app is different from what your vet has told you, follow your vet.

Lists such as the don’ts (toxic foods and hazards) are not complete. If you are unsure whether something is safe, ask your vet.

Alerts and emergencies

The app shows alerts at three levels, using rules approved by our clinical lead.

Act now: contact a vet straight away, the same day. If your vet is closed, call its out-of-hours service, or your nearest emergency vet (in the US, a 24-hour emergency animal hospital). Don’t wait for more readings.

Book an appointment: arrange to see your vet soon.

Mention it next visit: tell your vet at your next appointment.

Alerts are based only on what you enter. The app can’t see, hear, touch or examine your pet, and it knows nothing you haven’t recorded. So it can’t catch everything, and it may sometimes show an alert when nothing serious is wrong. Even with no alert, something could be wrong.

If you are worried about your pet, or they are getting worse, contact your vet, whatever the app shows. An alert is a reason to contact your vet or follow the advice they have given you; having no alert is never a reason to wait. If your vet has told you something different for your pet, follow your vet. Your own judgement and your vet’s advice always come first.

Typical ranges in the app, such as for temperature or blood sugar, are general figures for dogs or cats. If your vet has given you a different range or target for your pet, follow your vet’s.

In an emergency, don’t stop to use the app. Call your vet, its out-of-hours service or the nearest emergency vet (in the US, a 24-hour emergency animal hospital) straight away. If you think your pet has eaten something poisonous, contact a vet straight away. A pet poison helpline can also help: in the UK, Animal PoisonLine; in the US, the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center or Pet Poison Helpline. These usually charge a fee.

What you record

The app’s alerts, trends, summaries and exports are only as good as what goes into them. You are responsible for making your entries as accurate and complete as you can — for example, checking the units, the date and which pet you are recording for.

Some checks ask you to judge things such as pain or quality of life. Those scores are your own observations, not a vet’s assessment.

The app records the medicines and doses you enter and can remind you when they are due. It doesn’t check them. Always follow your vet’s instructions and the medicine’s label. Refill estimates are only estimates, so reorder in good time.

Reminders need your phone’s notifications switched on, and phones can silence or delay them, for example in Focus or Low Power mode. For a medicine your pet must not miss, keep a backup too, such as an alarm or a note.

AI suggestions

When you add a pet (Smart setup) or update their conditions (Smart updates), you can tap Suggest monitoring. The app sends what you type to Anthropic, our AI provider, whose AI model suggests which checks to switch on and drafts a short summary of your pet’s condition for you to edit. When you add a pet, it also sends their species, breed and age; when you update their conditions, their species, the condition already on file and the checks already switched on.

Suggestions appear already ticked, but nothing is saved until you have checked them and confirmed. Change anything that doesn’t look right. A suggestion can only switch monitoring on, never off. You can always choose the checks yourself instead.

The AI can be wrong. It may miss something your pet needs, suggest something they don’t need, or give different suggestions for the same description. No vet or other person checks its suggestions before you see them. It does not diagnose, and its suggestions are not veterinary advice. If your vet has asked you to keep an eye on something, switch it on yourself, whatever the AI suggests.

The AI never decides alerts. Alerts always come from fixed rules approved by our clinical lead, applied to what you enter.

Don’t use the AI features when your pet may need urgent help: contact a vet.

You need an account to use the AI features, and they may be part of the subscription: the app shows you before you use them. We limit how often each account can use them each day. Anthropic doesn’t use what you send to train its models. Our privacy policy explains exactly what is sent, where it is processed (in the United States) and how long it is kept. Only describe your pet’s health in the box, and leave out anything you would rather not share. If we change our AI provider, we will update our privacy policy first.

Accounts and keeping your records safe

You don’t need an account to use the app. Without one, your records live only on your phone. They could be lost for good if the phone is lost, broken or reset, if you delete the app, or if the phone clears the app’s stored data, which iPhones can do when they are very low on space. Your phone’s own backup may hold a copy, but we can’t promise it will. A free account is the safest way to keep them.

A free account keeps a copy of your records with us, on servers in London, so they survive a lost phone and reach your other devices. You also need one for the AI features.

If you create an account, use an email address that is yours and that you can get into. Keep your sign-in details, and access to that email account, safe, and don’t share them. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into your account.

Signing out removes your records from that phone; they come back when you sign in again. Deleting your account removes them from our systems for good; other phones you signed in on keep their copy until you sign out there. Our privacy policy explains both.

Sharing your pet’s records

Nothing goes to your vet automatically. When you use the visit summary, the export or photo and video sharing, you choose what to send and who to send it to, using your own email or messaging app. Check both before you send: once it has gone, we can’t recall it.

What you share is your own record. Summaries and exports say that it was recorded at home by the pet’s owner or carer and has not been checked by a vet.

If you list people who help look after your pet, or contacts such as your vet practice or dog walker, only add details they would expect you to keep. If their details are kept in an account with us, they can ask us to remove them. Details kept only on your phone are yours to change or delete.

Subscriptions and the free trial

Some features are free for a puppy or kitten until the app counts them as grown: at 12 months, or 18 months for large-breed dogs, worked out from the age or date of birth first entered within 30 days of adding the pet. Changing the age later can bring that date earlier but not later. The Free and Premium table in the app, shown before you subscribe, says which features are free, for which pets (for example, only your first puppy or kitten), and what needs a subscription. A pet with no age recorded in those 30 days is treated as grown. Please give your pet’s real age or date of birth: entering a younger age to get free features is against these terms (see “Using the app fairly”).

One subscription covers every pet you keep in the app. Subscriptions are not shared through Apple’s Family Sharing or Google Play’s Family Library.

The price is shown in the app and in the App Store or Google Play, in your own currency, before you buy. In the UK it includes VAT. In the US, the store adds any sales tax that applies.

When you subscribe, you agree that your subscription renews automatically and that the store will charge the price shown for each new month or year until you cancel. Apple charges in the 24 hours before the current period ends; Google charges on the renewal date. To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel online at any time in your store settings (see “Cancelling and refunds”). The store sends you receipts and notices of its own.

New subscribers can have one 7-day free trial, once per Apple ID or Google account. The store shows whether you get one before you confirm the purchase. You won’t be charged during the trial. When it ends, your subscription starts and the store charges the price shown, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Depending on the store, cancelling during a trial may end your access straight away. We may change or stop offering free trials for new subscribers, but that won’t affect a trial you have already started.

We may change our prices, for example because of changes in our costs or in tax, or in the features included. A new price will never apply to a period you have already paid for. We will tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you, and remind you again shortly before it does, by email if we have your address and in the app. The store will also tell you as its rules require, and sometimes it will ask you to agree before your subscription continues at the new price. If you don’t want to pay the new price, cancel before your next renewal after the change.

Whether or not you have a subscription, you can see everything you have recorded, including trends and charts; see any alert your entries raise; open and share your pet’s emergency ID card; use the don’ts list; and delete your account. If you have an account, you can also ask us to email you a copy of your records, free of charge. Without a subscription, for some pets you may not be able to record new checks or other entries, such as weight, appetite, water, being sick and lumps. Alerts are based only on what you enter, so an entry you can’t make can’t raise an alert.

Reminders that need a subscription stop at once when you don’t have one, for example because your trial or subscription has ended. That includes the medicine reminders for a pet whose medicines need a subscription, vaccination, flea, worming and vet plan reminders, and the daily check reminder. The app shows when a pet’s medicine reminders have stopped. The medicines stay on your pet’s record and on the emergency ID card.

Cancelling and refunds

Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple (the App Store) or Google (Google Play), so you cancel through them. On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Beyond the Vet Vitals and tap Cancel Subscription. On Google Play, open the Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions; choose Beyond the Vet Vitals and tap Cancel subscription. You keep the subscription until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds are decided by Apple or Google under their own rules, which may include a right to cancel within 14 days of buying. For Apple, ask at reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play, ask in the Play Store app or at play.google.com. Apart from the refunds described below, we don’t offer refunds of our own.

Your legal rights are not affected. In the UK, if you pay for a subscription and the app isn’t as described, of satisfactory quality or fit for purpose, or we don’t provide it with reasonable care and skill, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 may entitle you to have it put right, to a price reduction, or to some or all of your money back. You may also have a right to cancel within 14 days of buying. In the US, the law of your state may give you rights that can’t be waived. If the law entitles you to money back and the store doesn’t pay it, email support@beyondthevetvitals.com and we will pay what the law requires.

If you paid for a subscription period under an earlier version of these terms, any refund that version promised still applies to that period: email support@beyondthevetvitals.com to ask for it.

Using the app fairly

Please use the app fairly and lawfully, for what it is for: keeping records about pets you own or look after. In particular:

Don’t try to get into anyone else’s account or records, or into our systems, or to get round the app’s limits or its subscription checks.

Don’t interfere with how the app or our servers work — for example, with viruses, automated tools or attempts to overload them.

Don’t copy, change, sell or rent the app, or reverse-engineer it, except where the law allows you to.

Don’t upload anything unlawful or harmful, or anything you don’t have the right to share.

Use the AI features only to describe your own pet’s health. Don’t try to make them do anything else, and don’t enter other people’s personal details.

Don’t use the app to run a business or to give veterinary advice to others. If you are a vet practice or pet-care business and would like to use it with clients, talk to us first.

Our content

The app and everything in it — its software, design, text, checklists, alert rules, illustrations (including the pain faces) and the clinical guidance written for it — belong to us or to the people who license them to us.

Our checks are written for Beyond the Vet Vitals and look for signs that vets commonly use. Two checks follow the topics of published frameworks: the quality-of-life check (the HHHHHMM scale) and the memory, sleep and behaviour check (the DISHAA framework). Those frameworks remain their authors’ work.

We give you a personal licence to use the app for pets you own or look after, on devices you own or control, for as long as you accept these terms. It is non-exclusive, and you can’t transfer it to anyone else. If you got the app from the App Store, Apple’s rules also apply to it (see “If you got the app from the App Store”).

Some parts of the app are open-source software, used under their own licences. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under those licences.

Please don’t use our names or logo without our permission.

Your content

Your pet’s records, notes, photos and videos are yours. We don’t sell them, we don’t share them for advertising, and we don’t use them to build a profile of you. In the words US privacy laws use, we do not “sell” or “share” your personal information, and we don’t use it for targeted advertising.

You give us permission to store, copy and process them only as we need to run the app for you: for example, to keep them in your account, sync them to your devices, prepare the summaries and exports you ask for, and send what you type into the AI features, with the pet details our privacy policy lists, to our AI provider. That permission lasts until you delete your account, or until we delete something at your request. Some things can’t yet be deleted one at a time in the app; our account-deletion page explains what can be deleted and how. Routine backups expire as our privacy policy explains.

You confirm that you have the right to add what you add — for example, that a photo is yours or that you have permission to use it.

How we look after personal data is explained in our privacy policy at https://beyondthevetvitals.com/privacy

If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them to improve the app, without owing you anything for them.

Changes to the app

We update the app from time to time, to fix problems, improve it and keep its clinical content up to date. Updates come through the App Store or Google Play. When an update is essential — for example, to correct an alert rule — the app will tell you, and you may need to install it before you can carry on using the app. You can still export your records and open your pet’s emergency ID card first.

We may change, add or remove features for a good reason: to keep the app safe and its clinical content up to date; to reflect a change in the law, in regulators’ guidance or in how Apple or Google work; to fix problems; or because of changes in our costs or in what we offer free and what needs a subscription.

If we move a feature that is free today into the subscription, or stop offering it, and that affects you, we will tell you in the app at least 14 days before it happens, and by email too if you have an account. Even then, you will still be able to do everything listed as free whether or not you have a subscription (see “Subscriptions and the free trial”).

If you have a subscription, we won’t remove or reduce a main feature you are paying for during a period you have already paid for. A change like that applies only from your next renewal, and we will tell you at least 30 days before it does, so you can cancel first if you don’t want to continue. This doesn’t stop us making urgent changes to keep pets safe or to comply with the law, such as correcting an alert rule.

If we ever stop providing the app altogether, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice in the app, or by email if you have an account, so you can save your records. We will stop new subscriptions and renewals first. If the app stops before the end of a period you have paid for, you are entitled to a refund of the part you can’t use: ask Apple or Google, and if they don’t pay it, we will.

Changes to these terms

We will only change these terms for a good reason: to reflect a change in the law or in regulators’ guidance; a change to the app, its features or its prices; a change in how Apple or Google work; or to make them clearer or fairer. The date at the top shows when this version was published.

For an important change, we will tell you in the app, and by email too if you have an account, and ask you to read and accept the new terms before you carry on using the app. They apply to you from when you accept them. If you don’t want to accept them, you can delete your account; email us first if you want a copy of your records. If you have a subscription and don’t accept them, cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings and email us: we will refund the part of your current period you can’t use. For smaller changes, carrying on using the app after we have told you means you accept them.

If you don’t agree to a change, you can stop using the app and cancel your subscription before your next renewal.

Stopping, and when we can suspend you

You can stop using the app at any time. To end things completely, cancel any subscription in your App Store or Google Play settings first. Then delete your account: in the app, tap the person icon at the top right of your list of pets (Your account), then Delete my account — or email us. What is removed is explained at https://beyondthevetvitals.com/delete-account

We may suspend or close your account, or stop you using the AI features, if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms — for example, by misusing the AI features or trying to get into other people’s records — or if the law requires us to. Unless the law or a security risk stops us, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put things right, and before closing an account we will help you get a copy of your records. If we close your account, cancel your subscription in your store settings, or the store will keep charging you.

When these terms end, you must stop using the app. The parts of these terms that are meant to carry on, such as “Our responsibility to you” and “Your legal rights”, still apply.

Our responsibility to you

We will provide the app with reasonable care and skill. It may sometimes be unavailable, for example during maintenance, and if something goes wrong we will put it right as quickly as we reasonably can.

If we break these terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it was obvious it would happen, or if both you and we knew it might happen when you accepted these terms. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable, or that we did not cause.

We do not exclude or limit our responsibility where it would be unlawful to do so. That includes death or personal injury caused by our negligence or that of our staff or suppliers, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and your legal rights as a consumer — including your rights if digital content you have paid for is faulty.

The app supports your vet; it doesn’t replace them. Its alerts follow set rules and can only use what you enter, so they will not catch everything, and decisions about your pet’s care are for you and your vet. We are responsible for loss caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill, or, if you live in the UK and pay for a subscription, by the app not being as described, of satisfactory quality or fit for purpose. For example: an error in the app’s rules or guidance, or a fault that stopped an alert showing when the app’s rules say it should have. If something you did or didn’t do also contributed to the loss, a court may take that into account, as the law allows.

If faulty digital content we supply damages a device or other digital content that belongs to you, we will either repair the damage or pay you compensation. We are not responsible for damage you could have avoided by installing a free update we offered you, or by following our instructions.

The app is for your own private use. If you use it for a business, we are not responsible to you for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

The app is designed for pets kept as companions. We are not responsible for loss of income or value from breeding, showing, racing, competition or work, because we could not have foreseen it.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, as long as we take reasonable steps to limit their effect.

If you live in the US: warranties and limits on our responsibility

This section applies if you live in the United States, except New Jersey. It adds to “Our responsibility to you”, and where the two differ, this section applies. Except as these terms expressly say, and to the extent the law of your state allows, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”, and we disclaim all implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the extent the law of your state allows, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, and our total responsibility to you for all claims about the app or these terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months before the claim arose, and (b) US$100. These limits don’t apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for our gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or to any liability that the law of your state doesn’t allow us to limit.

If you live in New Jersey, this section does not apply to you; the rest of these terms, including “Our responsibility to you”, does.

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer, and nothing in them limits our responsibility to you beyond what the law allows.

In summary: in the UK, if you pay for a subscription, the app must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality, and we must provide it with reasonable care and skill. If it isn’t, you may be entitled to have it put right, or to some or all of your money back. This is only a summary.

For free, independent advice about your rights, contact Citizens Advice (England and Wales), Advice Direct Scotland, or Consumerline (Northern Ireland).

Wherever you got the app

You confirm that you are not in a country or region that is subject to a US Government embargo, or that the US Government has designated as “terrorist supporting”, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

When you use the app, you must also follow any third-party terms that apply to you, such as your mobile network’s or internet provider’s terms and the terms of the store you got the app from.

If you got the app from the App Store

These terms are between you and us only, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content. These terms do not set any rules for using the app that conflict with Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions or Volume Content Terms.

If you got the app from the App Store, your licence to use the app is a non-transferable licence to use it on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, as allowed by the Usage Rules in Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions. Other accounts linked to yours through Family Sharing, volume purchasing or Legacy Contacts may also use the app where Apple’s rules allow. (This covers the app itself. Subscriptions are not shared through Family Sharing.)

We, not Apple, are solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the app, as these terms describe and as the law requires. Apple has no obligation at all to provide any maintenance or support for it.

If the app fails to meet any warranty that applies to it, you can tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app (if any) to you. To the fullest extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. As between you and Apple, any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses caused by a failure to meet a warranty are our sole responsibility.

We, not Apple, are responsible for dealing with any claim by you or anyone else about the app, or your having or using it. That includes product liability claims; claims that the app does not meet a legal or regulatory requirement; and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility to you beyond what the law allows.

If anyone claims that the app, or your having or using it, infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.

Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. Once you accept them, Apple has the right (and is treated as having accepted the right) to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.

Questions, complaints or claims about the app should come to us, not Apple: see “Complaints and contact”.

If you got the app from the App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your licence of the app until we give Apple these terms to use instead. Where the two differ, these terms apply, including “Our responsibility to you” and “The law that applies”.

If you got the app from Google Play

If you got the app from Google Play, Google’s terms of service and Google Play’s terms also apply to your purchase. We, not Google, are responsible for the app.

Complaints and contact

For questions, problems, complaints or claims about the app, email support@beyondthevetvitals.com or phone 07767 292051.

We aim to reply within a few working days, and will always reply within 30 days. If you live in the UK and we can’t sort out a complaint, we will tell you so in writing, give you the name and website of an independent dispute resolution service that could deal with it, and say whether we agree to use it. You can also take it to court (see “The law that applies”).

For a question about a payment or refund, Apple or Google can help too. For a complaint about your personal data, see our privacy policy.

We will send you notices about the app, your subscription and these terms in the app, and by email if you have given us your address. You agree that these count as notices in writing, where the law allows.

If you live in California: under California Civil Code section 1789.3, the provider of the app is BeyondTheVetClinic Ltd, whose registered office is given under “Who we are and these terms” (email support@beyondthevetvitals.com; telephone +44 7767 292051). Current prices are shown in the app and in the App Store or Google Play. You may contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210.

Please don’t contact us about an urgent problem with your pet. We can’t give advice about individual pets: contact your vet, or an out-of-hours or emergency vet if your practice is closed.

The law that applies

If you live in the UK, these terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in England or Wales, you can bring legal proceedings about these terms in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, you can choose the Scottish courts or the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Northern Ireland, you can choose the courts of Northern Ireland or the courts of England and Wales.

If you live in the United States, these terms are governed by the law of the state where you live and by US federal law. Nothing in these terms takes away any protection that law gives you and that can’t be changed by agreement. You can bring a claim about these terms in the state or federal courts for the place where you live, or in a small-claims court if your claim qualifies. If we ever need to bring a claim against you, we will bring it only in those courts.

If you live anywhere else, these terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you keep any rights your local consumer law gives you that can’t be changed by agreement.

Before going to court, please tell us about the problem at support@beyondthevetvitals.com, so that we have a chance to put it right. This is a request, not a condition: it doesn’t stop you going to court.

If a court decides that part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t insist on something straight away, we can still insist on it later.

We may transfer our rights and responsibilities under these terms to another organisation, for example if the app is sold. We will tell you, and it won’t reduce your rights. You can’t transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else.

Apart from Apple and its subsidiaries, where you got the app from the App Store (see “If you got the app from the App Store”), nobody else has any right to enforce these terms.
